Dear Diary,
The previous week was supposed to be our hell week in camp but thanks to Lady Luck we survived the week unscathed. The so-called devils were too busy with their stuffs to come and bother us. This left us with 2 more weeks of trainee life to endure! 2 major excercises and we are out of this shit hole. Endure on!
I was made the stand-in IC for the last few days of the week. It was a whole new experience for me altogether partially due to the fact that I'm currently reading a book about leadership and dreams. My shot as the IC couldn't have come at a better timing because it allowed me to apply the stuffs that I picked up from the book. Althought my stint as the IC did not even clock up to 50hrs, it only consist of our first mini excercise and all the usual admin shit. To sum it up, I have learn more about myself as well as how to manage people better. A small and humble tip for all readers, always remember to put yourself in other's shoe before taking any actions. Never do to others what you dont want others to do to you.
Leadership is more than commanding & fear. Its about empowering & trust.
Just a random news about me. My right knee hurts pretty bad now. Will be going for a scan next next week. I hope its not going to be a big issue. One more thing, tmr is my big day! Its my first regimental weekend duty. A day to remember right ?
